Across the country, distress signals went out to all the various groups, asking for assistance in a remote large group of facilities in the territory known as the Great Plains. While the messages were altered and stylized for each faction, they all held the same coordinates. Of those first to respond were individuals already conducting investigations in its direction. While most of the Rogues, Barcalow Knights, USMP and Rangers received the signal and prepared to head out, Law Enforcement officers were already heading in that direction. From the southwest the singular rogue Wild was also heading there, both teams tipped off from recent investigations into warehouses found to be controlled by Tesla Industries. The compound itself was rather enormous, composed of several buildings with an olive-drab color. On each building the logo of Tesla Industries appeared. The parking lot for the entire area was abnormally empty as the first officers arrived in the main lot. Reports came in that others we're arriving within the hour from other directions. As Law Enforcement moved to secure their area, Wild arrived in a different area near the Law Enforcement staging area. Hiding his 'cycle, Wild moved on in to the facility. (OOC: Ok everyone, it begins now. All I ask is that before you start, make sure to do this at the start of your post: Name, Power Armor. Rangers, Rogues, BK, and USMP should be arriving in their posts. Otherwise, have fun!) |

PC Name: Clint Reisz MPA: Slaughter Dagger squad "ETA to the target is one hour, kiddies," the Armored Car driver reported. "Make sure your belts fit and your team colors are on." Within hours of a strange distress call being received, the 5th Special Mechanized Operations Forces squad's power armors and stolen armored car had been hastily repainted for special deployment. The Slaughter Daggers were now blue and white, a more pleasant color scheme in Clint's opinion, and the car carried symbols identifying it as a member of the Washington D.C. police force. The deception was deemed necessary as the target was located in the middle of what was considered Ranger territory and most, if not all, Rangers were considered enemies of the government. "Any word on backup yet?" Clint Reisz asked, checking that the connections between his Dagger and its IWSP pack were secure. "The word is the same as it was when we left," the driver said. "'Don't count on it.'" "I wish we'd had time to mount a chain gun on top," Jimmy Caruso muttered as he cleaned the barrel of his precious Agni launcher. "It'd stick out like a sore thumb," Dakota Kinsland answered. "Though I gotta agree, Sarge. Wish we had a bigger gun if we're not getting support." "We'll be fine without it," Clint said reassuringly. "Standard formation has enough firepower to make due." The ride from Washington D.C. to investigate a mysterious signal gave Clint a bad feeling, though after a week of finding nothing in the nation's capitol and presenting reports about the Nemesis the squad had found in Helena, getting back into the field was enough to curb most of his misgivings. The other squad members were busy making their final preparations, leaving Clint to wonder if this mission was going to have anything to do with their last. "Just keep us posted," Clint ordered the driver. "I'm getting suited up in case things are hot when we get there." |

PC Name: Simon Cobb MPA: Blitz Gundam Faction: Rouges Simon put down the kickstand to his bike, pulling off the motorcycle helmet and giving his head a shake to welcome in the cool fresh air. "So, is this really the place?" This seemed surprisingly quiet, especially considering that he wasn't really the closest. He had been traveling in this direction when he had received the distress signal. Simon pushed his bike in a patch of shrubbery, taking note of where it was for the future. There was always the chance that he was going to need to coming running here if things didn't go well. With a few quick adjustments, Simon carefully removed the clothes not ready to rip apart the limited supply of clothes that he had. He tossed them into the small trunk of his cycle before pulling out the most important thing he owned, his armor is collapsed form Simon felt himself blink normally and then, suddenly, opened his eyes as the Blitz. Sensors beeped, indicating that the more...militarized groups had already arrived. "I need to conserve battery power." Simon whispered to himself, activating the Mirage Colloid. "Only use it in open areas" Simon began running, trying to get inside the warehouse where he could operate more easily, able to keep Mirage Colloid off and Phase Shift on while investigating. |

Name: Hiromi Copress MPA: Type Z Mass Produced Side: Law Enforcement The truck rumbled along the old highway, years of tax payer neglect beginning to show. The sun was hot and the dust was plentiful, but fortunately the mood was light. Ian's squad sat in the back of the pickup, relaxing as much as the bumpy ride would allow. "I find it strange," JP said, that the law enforcement in this country is not capable of providing its officers vehicles..." Ian shrugged. "We're only loosely affiliated with the Government nowadays in a lot of areas. Which means, sadly, the budget isn't quite as fat as it used to be. Lucky Hiromi and I are on good terms with some of the locals here, and the Rangers appreciate some non Government controlled law." Indeed, while they'd lucked out on hitching a ride with an old Government C130, they'd still been faced with a fairly long hike to the Law Enforcement rendezvous point, fortunately one of the locals, an obvious supplier to the local Rangers who controlled this region, had been more than willing to give them a lift. This told them the Ranegrs were also likely headed out that way. Not that Hiromi cared, he was merely interested in a job with some sense of the unknown involved, Washington had been fun, but being closer to the West Coast again felt more natural. Amber reached out and banged on the cab. "Hey old timer, got an ETA?" The leathery face of the driver peered out, he knew these roads well enough to take his eyes of them every now and then. "Give it about an hour and a half missie." She nodded, then sighed as she slumped down. "These mods are gonna hold up right Hiro?" Hiromi frowned, she'd only taken to using his nickname recently, something normally only Ian did, and it felt... odd still. Brushing it aside he shrugged. "Should, just some basic shielding of the joints, should keep the grit and sand out better, still going to need more maintenance than usual so keep em seathed if at all possible." "Alright," Ian said, "lets all run a quick check on our gear, it'll be the last one before we stop so we can just relax the rest of the way. After that we'll plot our next move." |

Name: Wild MPA: Crossbone Gundam X-3 Faction: Rogues Heading towards the main building where Law Enforcement's staging area was, Wild approached as he moved around them without getting their attention. It took a good ten minutes before finally reaching the side of the building, away from their line of sight. Firing the scissor anchor from his waist armor up to a window ledge, Wild slowly climbed up. "Damn...really wish....Angel was here...This is her specialty...not...mine!" muttering to himself as he scaled it. A day ago... "Angel, I won't be back as soon as I thought. There's something I need to check out." "What? You found something dangerous didn't you?" "Not sure, probably though. I'll contact you when I'm on my way back, or I'll give you a meet-up point outside of the Mideast Territory." Present Short and to the point, but he had anticipated trouble. The fact Law Enforcement responded so quickly to the distress signal worried Wild. Given this was Ranger territory, they would have gotten here faster. Either Rangers were busy elsewhere, or Law Enforcement found something out as well. "Not enough time to dwell on the matter anyway, here's hoping I find out who it was that attacked me." And with that, Wild entered into the window, adjusting his cloak but keeping the weapons to his side for now. |

Name: Jack Verse Power Armor: Akatsuki Faction: Rangers Upon joining the Rangers, Jack Verse was made aware of the signal. The Ranger leadership sent only a few people out, and Jack was one of them. He set out on foot to the location that was included into the signal. "Well this is my first mission as a Ranger. Got to stay calm and focused, there is no telling what will happen. Just got to stay alert." Jack said to himself as he reaches closer to his destination. |

Name: Grant Krauser MPA: Bertigo Faction: Law Enforcement "You are certain that's the place?" Grant asked the fellow Keren introduced as one of her scouts. He sat on the hood of a Police Cruiser he "borrowed" from another LE Agent, lit another stick and was about to toss the used up match but thought better of it and put it in his trench coat's pocket. "I am. Our group acted as per Mistress Keren's orders and followed up on the leads we gathered from the other units. There has been a fair amount of activity around this area but we did not succeed in securing a live captive." "That's fine," Grant replied, "I doubt you'd be able to squeeze the information out of them." The scout raised an eyebrow at this, but Grant only chuckled. "It would be unwise for them to make such a careless mistake, don't you think? After that fiasco in the capital, I wouldn't be surprised if they weeded out those who would be more of a liability. It's what I would do." Grant continued then took a long drag and exhaled a stream of smoke. At this, the scout nodded and seemed to relax. A trail of stirred dust could be seen from not afar, and the pair identified them as Law Enforcement units. "Tell Keren I send my thanks," Grant said as he stood up, put out the stick on his palm and tossed it on the tray inside the cruiser as he got in the vehicle. "I'll take it from here." Lucas Klein Victory Gundam HEXA Law Enforcement Klein's cruiser rolled to the Law Enforcement staging area, an officer approached him as he stepped out. Flashing his badge the officer waved Klein on, stopping him only to make a suggestion. "Uh Detective?" He said, "You should really put your armor on, we have no idea what's about to go down in there." "Good advice." Lucas replied, letting the HEXA form up around him and stretching a bit as he assumed an armored appearance. The officer jumped back in shock. "HANDS WHERE i CAN SEEM 'EM NOW!" He shouted, pointing a largely useless .38 at Klein, who simply shrugged. "Hey now, don't get all jumpy on me. Here, go run my badge number and I'll wait here." Lucas said, handing the shaky officer his badge and retracting his helmet armor in hopes of calming the man. As the man ran over to the nearest computer, Klein looked at the compound, thinking. "Well I guess that just makes it all the more likely the guys who hit us in D.C. are involved..." |

Apollo Langley in Reborns Gundam Barcalow Knights The Knight's reputation proceeded it wherever they went. Sometimes that was a good thing. Other times... not so much. In this particular instance Apollo Langley observed caution. Hastily identifying himself a Knight could hurt the mission at hand. Details were sketchy but that was how things work in the real world. Forgoing the "luxuries" of Knight transportation and of his own power armor, Apollo finally reached the source of the distress signal after days of travel. Say what you will but public transportation was still available in this day and age for a price. Apollo looked down at his wallet and sighed. The fly escaping his wallet may have been part of his imagination but it was still true... he was broke at the moment. Regardless of his current finances, Apollo adjusted the weight of the large suitcase on his back and began to walk the dirt road. "Shouldn't be too much longer," Apollo said to himself while observing the GPS on his phone. Sure enough as Apollo spoke a large series of complexes appeared on the horizon. "Bingo." |

As Law Enforcement quickly arrived, Lucas Klein groaned at the thorough checking he received as Grant Krauser arrived. Flashing his badge, he activated his armor and strolled by his compatriot. "Mind a little help here?!" Lucas yells out to Grant, who shined bright in his white armored Bertigo. "Nope, next time remember to show your identification first kid," Grant yells back, as Lucas was finally relieved, grumbling to himself as they approached the facility. As they walked up to the building, a pickup truck arrived at the facility, carrying with them 4 orange and white armored officers. Thanking the old timer, Hiromi's squad approached the other two Gundam PA officers. The action around them began to intensify as Law Enforcement prepped the charges, and as the two Gundams and Hiromi's team did a final check, the doors were breached. Elsewhere... The Rangers were surprised at how quickly Law Enforcement had responded, as if they knew something their group did not. Scrambling with their Power Armors and SUVs to the facility, they took a different approach at one of the smaller side buildings. Of the few to respond, Jack Verse in the Akatsuki ran along the road. A few vehicles drove by as well as a few other Rangers joining in the trek. The few that were low in numbers picked up the Rangers traveling on the side of the road, Jack included. As the Rangers saw the presence of Law Enforcement, they took it upon themselves to move to the side to gain entry at a different point. Scrambling to respond, they hastily set up as they looked up in the sky to see USMP Ospreys and Night Ravens arriving at the location, taking up another point. "Oh....shit..." was all Jack could say. "We need to hurry up and breach the facility!" someone yelled out as they ran to the smaller building. With the USMP... Clint was able to get past most of the checkpoints for Law Enforcement, but upon the final one, their cover was finally broken. The officer was not amused, but with that the USMP forces began to arrive, what little that could be spared. The unamused officer directed them to where USMP was gathering. As they drove around, Clint noticed the Rangers' staging area as they scrambled to the facility, deciding on what to do. With the USMP themselves, the few squads that made it prepared their charges to breach. Finally... The ones with the least presence, the Barcalow Knights were quickly moving in, however they lacked most of their vehicles to be able to go through Ranger territory. The exception was a lone Line Breaker that could be spared. As Apollo Langely approached, the Line Breaker team recognized him as one of theirs and picked him up to get to the final point. Using their own tank as a battering ram, the few inside rammed through one of the building's walls and opened up its door inside, as the few inside poured out, activating their armors. Rogues... Simon Cobb found a way to sneak in to the center facility before the others breached violently in. Blitz was designed for stealth in mind, and this was no exception. Keeping the Colloid off, Simon traveled through the facility, looking at notes that made no sense strewn across the floor as he approached a large opening inside the facility, looking down on one of the floors as he noticed movement below. Wild looked around at the mess of Tesla Industries. He had a bit more time to search before the chaos approached outside. Still, the items he was finding yielded nothing. Heading closer to the main part of the facility, Wild moved to the first floor, looking around to see if there was anything of interest. As he stood there, an explosion ripped through one of the nearby doors as Law Enforcement poured in. "Freeze!" "Oh damnit!" (Everyone is about ready to breach or has breached. It's up to you guys from here what to do, if you're going to move inside or prepare to fight outside.) |
